Een ingewikkeld thema waar niets eenduidig zwart of wit is. Dus in plaats van een uitgestippelde weg naar een perfect voedselsysteem, wil Fork Ranger je een kompas bieden om je in de juiste richting te wijzen.<\/p>\n<p>Ons kompas is onderverdeeld in 5 levels:<\/p>\n\t<p>Heel Hoge Impact<\/p>\n\t<p>Hoge Impact<\/p>\n\t<p>Medium Impact<\/p>\n\t<p>Lage Impact<\/p>\n\t<p>Minimale impact<\/p>\n\t<h2>Grootste impact<\/h2>\n\t<p><img decoding=\"async\" role=\"img\" draggable=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/s.w.org\/images\/core\/emoji\/13.0.1\/svg\/1f969.svg\" alt=\"\ud83e\udd69\" \/><\/p>\n\t<p>Minder rundvlees<\/p>\n\t<p>Rundvlees vervangen door kip of varkensvlees kan de impact van je eten al met een vijfde verminderen.<\/p>\n\t<h2>Heel Hoge Impact<\/h2>\n\t<p><img decoding=\"async\" role=\"img\" draggable=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/s.w.org\/images\/core\/emoji\/13.0.1\/svg\/1f5d1.svg\" alt=\"\ud83d\uddd1\" \/><\/p>\n\t<p>Minder voedselverspilling<\/p>\n\t<p>Een derde van al het voedsel wordt verspild en in Westerse landen gebeurt een groot deel daarvan in onze keukens. Hier aandacht aan besteden vermindert niet alleen de benodigde landbouwgrond, maar helpt ons ook ons eten echt te waarderen.<\/p>\n\t<p><img decoding=\"async\" role=\"img\" draggable=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/s.w.org\/images\/core\/emoji\/13.0.1\/svg\/1f4ac.svg\" alt=\"\ud83d\udcac\" \/><\/p>\n\t<p>Met vrienden praten<\/p>\n\t<p>Als je een ander persoon kan overtuigen om minder rundvlees te eten maakt dit meer uit dan alle andere acties.<\/p>\n\t<h2>Belangrijke impact<\/h2>\n\t<p><img decoding=\"async\" role=\"img\" draggable=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/s.w.org\/images\/core\/emoji\/13.0.1\/svg\/1f953.svg\" alt=\"\ud83e\udd53\" \/><\/p>\n\t<p>Minder varkensvlees<\/p>\n\t<p>Varkensvlees als een alternatief voor rundvlees is prima maar let op de hoeveelheden. Omdat bijvoorbeeld spek een sterke smaak heeft heb je maar weinig nodig voor veel effect (i.e. 100g spek voor 4 personen). Dit bespaart emissies.<\/p>\n\t<p><img decoding=\"async\" role=\"img\" draggable=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/s.w.org\/images\/core\/emoji\/13.0.1\/svg\/1f9c0.svg\" alt=\"\ud83e\uddc0\" \/><\/p>\n\t<p>Minder zuivel<\/p>\n\t<p>Dairy products have roughly the same impact as chicken. A lot of people replace meat with dairy, so it&#8217;s important to pay attention to dairy products, especially when you eat cheese every day.<\/p>\n\t<p><img decoding=\"async\" role=\"img\" draggable=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/s.w.org\/images\/core\/emoji\/13.0.1\/svg\/1f95c.svg\" alt=\"\ud83e\udd5c\" \/><\/p>\n\t<p>Meer noten, peulvruchten en volkoren producten<\/p>\n\t<p>Als we minder vlees eten, hebben we eiwitten nodig uit andere producten. Noten, bonen, linzen, zaden en volkoren producten zijn allemaal gezonde bronnen van eiwit.<\/p>\n\t<h2>Kleinere maar betekenisvolle impact<\/h2>\n\t<p><img decoding=\"async\" role=\"img\" draggable=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/s.w.org\/images\/core\/emoji\/13.0.1\/svg\/1f41f.svg\" alt=\"\ud83d\udc1f\" \/><\/p>\n\t<p>Duurzaam uit de zee<\/p>\n\t<p>Vooral garnalen, tonijn en zalm hebben een hoge impact. Je kan beter kleiner visjes zoals sardientjes of haring kiezen maar de opties beste uit de zee zijn mosselen, oesters en zeewier.<\/p>\n\t<p><img decoding=\"async\" role=\"img\" draggable=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/s.w.org\/images\/core\/emoji\/13.0.1\/svg\/1f414.svg\" alt=\"\ud83d\udc14\" \/><\/p>\n\t<p>Minder kip &amp; eieren<\/p>\n\t<p>Even though chicken has the lowest footprint from all meat &#8211; and eggs are even lower &#8211; a sustainable pattern seems to be to eat (organic) chicken once to twice a week.<\/p>\n\t<p><img decoding=\"async\" role=\"img\" draggable=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/s.w.org\/images\/core\/emoji\/13.0.1\/svg\/1f331.svg\" alt=\"\ud83c\udf31\" \/><\/p>\n\t<p>Meer biologisch<\/p>\n\t<p>Organic products not only support better farming but also save CO2 by protecting the soil. Because not everything is measured (yet) it&#8217;s tricky to know the true impact. Choosing the organic option seems most important for bread, bananas, apples and any animal products.<\/p>\n\t<p><img decoding=\"async\" role=\"img\" draggable=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/s.w.org\/images\/core\/emoji\/13.0.1\/svg\/1f342.svg\" alt=\"\ud83c\udf42\" \/><\/p>\n\t<p>Meer in het seizoen<\/p>\n\t<p>Met het seizoen eten is niet zo simpel als het lijkt en vraagt om veel onderzoek om het goed te doen. Het belangrijkste is om het kleine aantal producten dat per vliegtuig komt te vermijden.<\/p>\n\t<h2>Minimale impact<\/h2>\n\t<p><img decoding=\"async\" role=\"img\" draggable=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/s.w.org\/images\/core\/emoji\/13.0.1\/svg\/1f4cd.svg\" alt=\"\ud83d\udccd\" \/><\/p>\n\t<p>Meer lokaal<\/p>\n\t<p>The biggest impact of a product is usually growing it, while transport is generally a very small part of a product&#8217;s emissions. While supporting local farmers is great, the concept of &#8216;food miles&#8217; is not something to worry about.<\/p>\n\t<p><img decoding=\"async\" role=\"img\" draggable=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/s.w.org\/images\/core\/emoji\/13.0.1\/svg\/1f4e6.svg\" alt=\"\ud83d\udce6\" \/><\/p>\n\t<p>Betere verpakkingen<\/p>\n\t<p>Packaging is the most visible part of a food product but often it&#8217;s also one of the smallest impacts. Sometimes, plastic packaging even helps to prevent food waste.<\/p>\n\t<h2>Notities en bronnen<\/h2>\n<p>Dit is een samenvatting om om duurzaam te <em>eten<\/em>. Een prioriteitenlijst voor duurzaam <em>verbouwen van voedsel<\/em> zou er heel anders uitzien. Dit is niet een route naar een perfect voedselsysteem maar een richtlijn voor hoe we onze ergste effecten van onze voedselkeuzes kunnen verminderen.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;ve tried to take a holistic approach to food but this list is biased towards greenhouse gas emissions. That&#8217;s not because we care more about greenhouse gases than biodiversity, but because that&#8217;s where our consumer choices matter most (<a href=\"\/nl\/what-is-the-fork-ranger-approach\/\">lees meer<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Deze lijst is het resultaat van onderzoek voor <a href=\"\/nl\/product\/boek\/\">het Fork Ranger boek<\/a>, dat de volledige lijst van bronnen en toelichting bevat.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Er is veel ruimte voor discussie of sommige acties een hogere of lagere prioriteit moeten krijgen.
